WT-600 T/R Okayo

A Tour Guide set with WT-600 transmitter-receiver devices is a completely new solution from Okayo based on digital 2.4GHz radio transmission technology. A spitting image of the analogue model WT-500, they have a compact, elegant casing with small dimensions and weight of both, the transmitter and receiver. An interesting solution is the option to use two WT-600T transmitters to work with a group of WT-600R receivers, operating over the same channel without any interference. In other Tour Guide systems, such operation is impossible. Such a solution is useful, e.g., for simultaneous work of two leading persons (guides) or when working with a translator. Easy to use, has also a LCD display with all the information necessary for correct operation. The transmitter has a built-in microphone to be used if no external microphone is connected, a MUTE function to cut-off a transmitted audio signal, signalled with a flashing diode, and an AUX input slot for an additional audio signal. When connecting an audio signal source with adjustable level to an AUX socket, we can achieve a mixing effect simultaneously to the microphone signal. The devices require a power supply via 1 AA(R6) single-use battery or a nickel-hydride AA (R6) rechargeable battery AA(R6), which enables continuous operation of approx. 15 hours. They can be charged with a multi-slot HDC-525 case-charger for 25 transmitter-receiver devices or “rack” type panel HDC-550 for 50 devices. The WT-600R receivers have an automatic switch-off function, which is designed to protect the power sources against discharging in the “rest” mode and is activated after 20 minutes from switching off the transmitter..
