DigiBee Okayo

A Tour Guide set based on transmitting-receiving devices and a DigiBee programmer is the latest design from Okayo. Thanks to specialized software, these devices have the option to change the operating frequency range. 1 frequency band can be selected out of the 11 available. The band is selected via an additional device, the DigiBee programmer. A relevant frequency band, required by regulations on radio-communication for a given region/country (list below) is selected in the programmer according to the Band code (list below) and by activating the transmission function, is sent to the DigiBee transmitters and DigiBee receivers. A system based on DigiBee devices may be used without a programmer, however, there will not be an option to change the bands. When transmitting from a DigiBee programmer, there is an option to send additional information regarding switching on/off functions, such as locking the channel switching keys, auto-off and the number of the channel for the DigiBee set, which will be used by the entire Tour Guide system. A compact, elegant casing with small dimensions and weight is identical to the previous products, the analogue Okayo WT-500 and the digital Okayo WT-600.  The DigiBee transmitter has the feature to change the channel number in the receivers comprising a Tour guide set. The receiver has an additional, built-in microphone to be used in case an external microphone is not connected, a MUTE function to cut-off the microphone signal, which is signalled with a LED diode that also acts as an indicator of the ON-mode, low power level, channel programming transmission in DigiBee receivers, and an extra AUX input slot for an additional audio signal. The devices require a power supply via 1 AA(R6) single-use battery or a nickel-hydride AA (R6) rechargeable battery AA(R6), which enables continuous operation of approx. 12 hours. They can be charged by a portable HDC-525 case-charger for 25pcs of transmitter-receiver devices or a “rack” type panel HDC-550 for 50 devices or aHDC-550+ for the same number of devices. There is an option to disable the functions of channel change locking, synchronization with the programmer and receiver, as well as auto deactivation.
